I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge you and your team for your management of my rental units. I lived in the Hector building on Palliser for five years and during that time I found my interactions with your staff to be pleasant and prompt when issues arose. When I decided to move, the walk through and final lease termination and damage deposit refund all went off without a hitch. I worked hard for my full refund and you were fair in appreciating that. What stands out to me is that from the time I decided to move and look for a new unit I was kept in the loop of the newest accommodations that would suit my budget and needs; of course I was referred to the website but when I called in ‘just to see’ if anything new had come up, I was treated like a valued client right from Amanda at Reception all the way up to you Mark-and Tonia was a gem. When I finally viewed my present home, I had some further inquiries and requests-all of which were answered within the same day-and it felt to me like people bent over backwards to help make it possible; sure enough the move in also went really well. I find Tonia really approachable and very competent; she has a comprehensive understanding of electrical/plumbing and appliance quandaries and refers out when necessary within 24 hours of my concern. Jansen 15 YEARS OF STELLAR SERVICE My wife and I have been the recipient of 15 years of PEKA long-distance management services for property we owned in Canmore, Alberta. We purchased the townhouse property in 1998. During this time, PEKA personnel recruited trustworthy tenants, supervised the transitions from past tenants to future renters, monitored the replacement of appliances, problem solved scores of repairs and both protected and enhanced our investment. On one cold and blustery Christmas eve, the stove in our unit self destructed. Our tenants were left without the ability to prepare their Christmas dinner. PEKA came to the rescue. Somewhere – they found a portable cooker in time to turn a disappointment into a celebration.
